What If? was something new for both Marvel fans as well as the studio. It gave us a new way of looking at the characters in the cinematic universe while letting us dive into infinite possibilities of the Marvel Multiverse. If you haven't watched it yet, you need to start today and ponder the question WHAT IF..?

Episode 1: What if Captain Carter was the first avenger?

This episode had a lot of concerns regarding how it will expand the multiverse through an animated show. This was a fast paced and a little tweaked version of Captain America: The First Avenger. In this universe, Rogers was about to get the super soldier serum but due to some actions happening earlier than they should, Peggy ends up entering the chamber and she finally becomes Agent Carter or Captain Carter.

Episode 2: What if T'challa became Star-lord?

 Late Chadwick Boseman's character T'challa was the crowned prince of Wakanda in our original MCU but in this episode we see an alternate universe, where Yondu kidnaps T'challa instead of Peter Quill and makes him a part of The Ravegers. T'challa becomes a very different yet quite similar type of Star Lord than what we saw in Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 1 and Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2

Episode 3: What if the world lost it's mightiest heroes?

Avengers, the world's mightiest heroes. They were there to save us from Loki's attack, Ultron's age and eventually Thanos's plan. They've done all they could to save the world but what if they don't have anyone to save themselves? One of the characters we know from the MCU goes on a killing streak of all the Avengers due to his/her personal issues with S.H.I.E.L.D . Who is it? What does he do?

Episode 4: What if Doctor Strange lost his heart instead of hands?

Now, the story comes to Dr. Stephen Strange. This is definitely one of the best episodes in the whole series. In this world, Stephen becomes Master of The Mystic Arts after the love of his life dies in a car accident. He decides to use the time stone to save her. He does everything he could to save Christine. Does he successfully do so? What were the consequences?

Episode 5: What if Zombies?

Another crazy episode of What If..?. This shows us an alternate universe, where Banner returns to earth through bifrost but does not find anyone to tell about the arrival of Thanos. He further finds out that the Avengers of this universe have been the victims of a Zombie virus that Hank Pym brought with his wife from the quantum world and have become flesh eating zombies. Only a few of The Avengers are still safe who end up saving Banner and later head on to find the cure for this.

Episode 6: What if Killmonger rescued Tony Stark?

Honestly, the title is not entirely true. I know it might be a spoiler, but YES! It is an average episode in my opinion anyway. In this episode, when Tony Stark was in Afghanistan and was about to be kidnapped. Then, Erik comes in and saves him from being kidnapped. This results in Tony never becoming the hero we all love and admire. Later in the episode, we get to know what the actual intentions of Killmonger were.

Episode 7: What If Thor were an only child?

Thor. I mean, who doesn't like Thor? (after Ragnarok, I mean). Jokes apart, Thor is among the most popular and the most loved heroes in MCU. We all know how he developed himself as a character. However, for the maturity and heroism Thor possesses currently, there were multiple pushes from The God of Mischief Loki. In this episode, we see what if Thor never had Loki while growing up? It is not as deep or serious as the other episodes in the series. It is a very fun and enjoyable one for sure.

Episode 8: What If Ultron won?

I hope most of you will agree when I say we never got the chance to see an Age of Ultron in the MCU. We rather saw a few weeks of Ultron. Ultron was definitely a huge threat and could've achieved a lot more than what we saw in the movie. In this episode, we see an ultron who actually achieves his goal. We actually get to see Age of Ultron and it is truly fantastic. Everything than Ultron couldn't do in the movie, he does in this episode.

Episode 9: What if the watcher broke his oath?

The Watcher was introduced as a character that does not, cannot and will not interfere. He had an oath to watch but not intervene. But what if he did? What if there was a threat so big that watcher had to break his oath and play a role in eliminating the threat? What will the watcher do? What is the threat? Does he even win?
